  • Yes. Well-behaved pets are welcome as long as they remain on a leash, are calm around other guests, and do not disrupt the peaceful atmosphere with excessive barking or other behavior.

    We simply ask owners to be considerate of everyone enjoying the winery.

  • Yes. Children are welcome at Old World Libations, but they must remain under the supervision of a responsible adult throughout their visit.

  • Absolutely. We highly encourage individuals to visit the property first, then contact us directly so that we may understand their needs and desires. Every venue rental is different, and pricing will vary depending on those circumstances. We do not host birthday parties for any individual under 21 years of age.

  • Tastings are available on most days that we are open, and reservations are not usually required.

    During especially busy periods—most often on Fridays—we may not have enough time to provide the guided tasting experience we want each guest to receive. At those times, we may recommend a self-guided flight instead, with tasting notes and information provided for each wine you select.

    Flights include four 2-ounce pours. Guided tastings include either five or eight 1-ounce pours and are conducted with one of our team members.

    For larger groups, tours, or special arrangements, we recommend contacting us in advance so we can provide the best possible experience.

  • Yes. We welcome private events and larger groups at Old World Libations.

    We recommend contacting us in advance so we can make sure adequate seating and space are available for your group and help ensure the best possible experience during your visit.

  • Yes. We can ship many of our wines and meads directly to customers in states where direct-to-consumer alcohol shipping is permitted.

    Shipping availability may vary by state, and an adult age 21 or older must be available to sign for the delivery. Visit our online shop to see current shipping options and available products.

  • Yes. Guests are welcome to bring outside food and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy during their visit.

    Outside alcoholic beverages, however, are not permitted on the property. West Virginia alcohol regulations do not allow BYOB consumption at licensed premises, so all alcoholic beverages consumed at Old World Libations must be purchased through us.
